Dr. M Bruce Viechnicki, MD, FACOG, CCD

Dr. M Bruce Viechnicki, MD, FACOG, CCD, has been serving the Lehigh Valley for  over fifty years in various capacities. At present, he practices as an independent physician. He is qualified to provide medical marijuana to patients who are diagnosed with medical conditions approved by the State of Pennsylvania. Meet Dr. V in this short interview.

Dr. M Bruce Viechnicki, MD, FACOG, CCD

Dr. Viechnicki completed his college education at Georgetown University, earning a B.S. in Biology. After four years at Temple University Medical School, he received his M.D. degree. He continued with a four-year residency in a specialized residency program. He served four years in the U.S. Army, receiving the Army Commendation for exceptional Service.

As an Obstetrician for over forty years, I enjoyed caring for women and their babies. I now extend that same compassionate care to my cannabis patients and firmly believe in the power of preventative medicine.

As a former Gynecologist Dr. Viechnicki firmly believes in the power of preventative medicine. He advocated for routine Pap smears and exams to identify problems and begin treatment at the earliest time possible, leading to much better outcomes. Prior to moving to Coordinated Health, Dr. Viechnicki was in private practice for 40 years and helped build a number of Women’s Health Centers specializing in mammography, ultrasound, and bone density. Besides comprehensive gynecologic annual visits, Dr Viechnicki also specialized in pelvic reconstructive surgery for pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis. Dr. Viechnicki has had a number of TV appearances and has served as an educator of osteoporosis.M.
